The Consent Vacuum presented at IAIL 2026 in Brussels
Osman Gazi Güçlütürk (Galatasaray University, Faculty of Law) and I presented The Consent Vacuum: When Agents Interact Without Humans at IAIL 2026, the 5th International Workshop on Imagining the AI Landscape after the AI Act, co-located with HHAI 2026 in Brussels on 7 July 2026.
The paper uses the early-2026 Clawdbot/Moltbook incidents as a stress test for consent in open-ended agent-to-agent ecosystems and maps the resulting consent failures onto the GDPR, the EU AI Act and the Digital Services Act.
